The results are in...

It took just a few days to see the obvious results, and I'm glad I didn't take my fly experiment bet to Vegas!  

The flies did not seem at all confused by our ziploc "refraction" creators.

Gobbie's Fruit Cocktail Fly Traps result...mold:1, flies:0!

I guess in this case we got what we paid for, the Raid Fly Ribbons successfully snagged quite a few flies and other pests.  

Thank goodness for fly spray, and the best news, our fly predators are scheduled to arrive today.
