Chloe and Oscar

Meet Oscar and Chloe our incredibly sweet and friendly Holland Lop Rabbits.  They were born on Feb. 22nd 2014 and have been such an awesome addition to our family.  I found them on Craigslist and Mom and I set out to pick them up!   It ended up being about a 6 hour round trip journey on snowy roads but it was well worth the effort.  

The entire trip there and back was spent trying to pick out names.   By about hour 4 we were pretty punchy and were coming up with some doozies.  Here were some of the names these two almost had:

- Goldie and Kurt
- Khloe and Lamar - They have Lamar in their breeding name, so this was tempting but was promptly vetoed by Aunt Heather :)
- Hef and Holly 
- Donny and Marie
- Oscar and Lucille
- Kenny and Dolly
- Blake and Miranda

It came down to Oscar and Lucille and Kurt and Goldie.   We also mentioned the name Chloe to my Dad, who had been pretty neutral on the bunny names, he put in a strong vote for that one.  So Oscar and Chloe it was!   

The bunnies are extremely tame and greet us every morning like this waiting to give kisses on the nose.
